Punjab State Education Board will conduct the Punjab Teacher Eligibility test, commonly known as PTET, on March 12, 2023. Examining candidates for the role of a teacher in Punjab government-owned schools at the state level is the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Examination (PSTET). In Punjab’s government-sponsored schools, the exam is held annually to choose teachers for the Primary and Upper Primary divisions.

The notification for the exam was released on February 17, 2023, and the application process began on February 18, 2023, and was completed by 28th February 2023. The admit card for the exam was released on 9th March 2023.
Punjab TET Merit list
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will compile the PSTET Merit List 2023 based on how well each applicant performed in the test. The merit list will contain the names of the candidates who will be shortlisted for the post. Candidates will be taken into consideration for placement on the PSTET Merit List if their score is at least as high as the PSTET Cut-Off 2023. Along with the test results, the PSTET Merit List 2023 be announced on the official website pstet2023.org.
The final merit list of the PTET exam will be based on various factors like the difficulty level of exams, the number of teachers who are to be recruited, number of students who are appearing for the exam.

Punjab TET Cut-off 2023
The cut-off marks for the Punjab TET exam have been fixed by the PSEB. The state board has fixed the minimum qualifying marks to be 60% for the general category, 55% for candidates from the OBC category, and 50% for candidates from SC and ST categories.

How to Check Punjab TET Result 2023
It is expected that the results of Punjab TET will be declared by the end of March or the beginning of April. Along with the merit list, the results will be posted on PSEB’s official website. With their credentials like roll number, candidates can access the website and see their names on the merit list and comprehensive scorecards. To check the results, candidates can take the following steps:
Step-1: Go to PSEB’s official website first.
Step-2: Currently, the homepage is visible.
Step-3: Now look for the PSTET Result 2023 link on the webpage.
Step-4: Now, you can see the Results link.
Step-5: You must provide your date of birth and roll number.
Step-6: Then press the “submit” button.
Step-7: Your PSTET score is currently visible on your screen.

Punjab TET Exam pattern 2023
The PSTET exam is conducted in two phases in the name of Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers will be conducted on the same day, that is, on 12th March 2023. Paper, I will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, and Paper II will be conducted from 2:30 to 5:00 pm. The exam will be conducted online mode. All the aspirants who wish to teach students from Classes 1 to 8 are required to take both exams.
Exam pattern for Paper I
It will be an online MCQ-type exam comprising five sections and 150 questions, which must be completed in 2.5 hours. The paper will have three compulsory sections and one optional subject. The detailed pattern is mentioned below:
