generally it is impressive to read about hard working individuals who have made it in life and have a heart to donate to the poor. I see Africa as a disadvantaged continent that need considering to cultivate the spirit of self-reliance through hardwork.

Are you for real ? Are you blind to the history of this continent? Do you not know of the massive brain drain in the colonization of the West Indies. Are you not aware that such rape and ravishing of the continent has stunted the people some have regressed while others are surviving best way they can. White people ask for funds too, they call in investments and charity. A black man when he asks you say he is begging. The banks willnd to the whites and thei rates will be more accommodating but for a black person it is so difficult. The whites have generational wealth earned from the backs of many Africans and their descendants along with other indigenous people of the west indies. People of darker shades who are not east indians are treated less than humans by the world. With so many rich people in the UK and America and yet so many children die of hunger all around the world. people use charity to help them financially in the long run. They just do “enough” so people will sat he/she is a good person. Just doing “enough” isn’t enough when you know you can do so much more.
