RRB JE Eligibility 2023
Candidates who make up their minds to fill out the Application form for recruitment will need to know the eligibility criteria to appear in the exam. The eligibility criteria include various aspects like Age, educational qualification, medical standards and more. Let’s discuss this in detail to understand you better.
- Age Limit- The minimum age to apply for the post is 18 years, while the maximum is 33 years. However, the Railway Recruitment Board also give some age relaxation to specific categories of candidates. Generally, applicants from the SC/ST category will get five years of age relaxation. While Applicants fall under the category, OBC will get three year age relaxation.
Women who are divorced or widowed, or judicially separated from their spouse will also get a different age relaxation under different categories. SC/ST women will apply up to 40 years of age. OBC/NCL women got the age relaxation up to 38 years of age. At the same time, the general category of women will apply up to the age of 35.
2. Educational Qualifications-Â To apply for the RRB JE Recruitment 2023, the desired candidates must fulfil the educational requirements. These are:
- Three-year Diploma in any certified Engineering college.
- BE/B. Tech in any recognized Engineering Stream.
- It is to be noted that students in the final year will not be eligible to apply for the job.
3. Nationality- One must also fulfil this particular requirement to get certified for the post. The applicant must be a resident of India or a subject of Bhutan and Nepal. The person who relocated to India from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma and any other country to be permanently comfortable in India will also be eligible for the post. A Tibetan exile who settled in India before 1962 with the goal of becoming all-time comfortable in India will also come under the eligibility criteria to apply for the vacancy.
RRB JE Application Form 2023
The RRB, after the notification, will release the Application Form. The desired candidates falling under the eligibility criteria must fill out the form to ensure their seats in the examination hall. Generally, the application fee for RRB JE recruitment is Rs 500 for the general category applicants and Rs 250 for SC/ST category. The application form for women falling under the category of the widow and divorced or physically disabled is also Rs 250. The application form is expected to be available by April 2023.
