Sir Brief Description
Sir or Vathi is a period action drama directed by the prominent Telugu film director Venky Atluri. The Telugu version is titled Sir, whereas the Tamil version is Vathi. The movie is made under the production company Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The lead roles in the film feature Dhanush and Samyuktha, while the supporting cast includes P. Sai Kumar,  Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadi and Tanikella Bharani.
Sir Storyline and Plot
The plot of the movie looks promising. The storyline is set in the small town of Sozhavaram, or Siripuram, in the late 1990s. Srinivas Tripathi, the owner of the private colleges, intentionally sends his faculty members to government colleges, knowing they cannot teach well to eradicate government colleges. Thus forcing the students to be admitted to private institutions. Meanwhile, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a talented teacher, stops Tripathi in his unlawful practices by making the students of the Siripuram government college pass with first-class distinction.

Netflix acquires the platform rights of the Venky Atluri-directed movie. Initially, there were speculations that Aha acquired the digital rights to the film. The satellite rights of the movie were sold to Sun TV Network. Netfilx premiered the movie in three different languages, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
