  • It was reported that star players of Women Cricket team had joined the WPL as team mentors. Mithali Raj has joined as the mentor of the Gujarat Giants team, and Jhulan Goswami has joined as the bowling coach and mentor of the Mumbai Indians Team.
  • Smriti Mandhana currently is the most expensive player of WPl, 2023, followed by all-rounder player Deepti Sharma; both bagged a deal of Rs 3.4 crore and Rs 2.6 crore, respectively. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians both were rooting for Smriti Mandhana.
  • It was reported that around 1525 players had registered for the tournament, out of which 409 players were finally selected to play the match.
